U.S. Housing Market Bouncing Back

For anyone looking for evidence that the U.S. housing market is indeed bouncing back, take a look at this:

The most expensive single family residence in American sold last week according to Realtor.com. Candy Spelling (widow of the late TV producer Aaron Spelling) sold her $150 million dollar estate to the 22 year old daughter of a Formula One magnate (final terms of sale have not been disclosed but the listing agents stand to make up to $9 million in commissions!).

This home features 14 bedrooms, 27 baths, 16 covered parking spaces, and 56,500 square feet of living area, including a bowling alley.

OK were not all magnates and Hollywood bazillionaires so maybe we cant relate directly, but we can at least see this as a sign of the housing market finally moving in the right direction!
